MDG appoints Matt Wiseman as European Sales Manager

MDG is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Wiseman as its new European Sales Manager, with immediate effect.

Wiseman will be responsible for MDG’s European distribution network, driving business growth and supporting customers and distributors on a one-to-one basis through demo processes, product training, special projects and trade show support.

Wiseman brings with him over 30 years of industry experience, predominantly with rental companies and manufacturers in the lighting world, including Theatre Projects, Midnight Design, Essential Lighting, Vari-Lite, PRG and Rosco where he was European Sale Manager. Since 2014 he has been at the forefront of MDG sales in the UK. “This is where my background in rental really helped to understand the fast pace that you need to support the industry the best you can,” says Wiseman.

“I’m excited to bring my experience in sales, and customer and product support to MDG in this new role. I love a challenge and, having spent 11 years building the UK MDG market, the move to looking after Europe is a big but very exciting prospect. Every day I learn a little more about MDG, its products or the valued customers who have put their faith in us. I love to meet and understand customers’ needs, where they are using our products and how I can best support that. I can see a healthy future for MDG and can’t wait to continue our journey in this new capacity.”
